 1. Why did Dianne get up so early.

Answer/Risposta:
She had to get up early to feed her friend's cat.

 2. Why is she looking after the cat?
Answer/Risposta:
She's looking after the cat because her friend's gone to Australia on holiday.
 3. What happened on the way to the airport?
Answer/Risposta:
Dianne's car broke down on the way to the airport. (Or) Dianne's car broke down.
 4. How did her friends get to the airport?
Answer/Risposta:
They had to call for a taxi.  (Or) They got a taxi to the airport instead.  (Or) They called a taxi company.

Sue: "Hi Dianne, you look tired, what time did you get up this morning?"
Dianne: "At 6 o'clock. I switched the alarm off and got up to feed my friend's cat. I've got to look after it for 2 months."
Sue: "Hold on.... 2 months, is that right"
Dianne: "Yes, my friends went to Australia a week ago and they're staying 8 weeks. I gave them a lift to the airport but my car broke down"
Sue: "Oh no"
Dianne: "Yes, we had to call a taxi. Don't worry, they arrived at the airport OK and their aeroplane took off on time"
Sue: MUMBLE: "I'm going to university in September"
Dianne: "What was that... speak up"
Sue: Sorry,  I said I've decided I'm going to go back to University in September.
Dianne: "That's great"
Sue: "Oh,... sorry,... there's someone at the door, I've got to go, speak soon
Dianne: Yes, I'll phone you tomorrow, bye.
Sue: Bye.
